Topic One: Eye-Q SpaMedica CPD quiz

Audience: Optometrist, Dispensing optician

Learning Domains:
This CPD event is aimed at registered optometrists and dispensing opticians. Using an informal, quick format, it highlights key learning points in cataract, diabetes, dry eye, AMD, and glaucoma. Registrants will form small teams to answer questions based on a patient scenario, an image, or a specific relevant topic. After the quiz, the presenter will review the correct answers and highlight key learning points, allowing participants to check and consolidate their understanding.

Topic Two: Cases and clinical management at SpaMedica

Audience: Optometrist, Dispensing optician

Learning Domains:
This is a series of visual recognition tests which are laid out in a SpaMedica hospital so that when they take tour, they can benefit from CPD along the way. Each ‘station’ has an image and 3 questiosn related to the topic/case. Aminimum of 3 statiosn will be included, up to a maximum of 6. Registrants get the chance to view the image and read the questions, and then they are encouraged to discuss their answers as a group, and compare each other’s understanding. The correct responses are shared with attendees afterwards.

Light refreshments will be provided at arrival.
