SpaMedica works in partnership with optometrists to deliver the highest standards of care to our patients. This partnership includes us sharing ophthalmic knowledge and expertise through our CPD training. 

We run a variety of different CPD sessions throughout the year covering a range of topics and competencies.

Post-op Accreditation

SpaMedica is the largest independent provider of cataract surgeries for NHS patients in the UK, treating thousands of NHS patients every month. A key part of our service is being able to offer our patients the opportunity to have their cataract post-operative assessment at their referring optician’s practice. We currently have over 6,000 community optometrists registered on our Accredited Partner Programme.
