SpaMedica Glasgow Launch Offer – Optometrist & Friends/Family 20% Discount Effective from 20.07.2026 to 31.08.2026.
1. This promotion is open exclusively to optometrists and dispensing opticians registered with the General Optical Council (GOC) practising at participating optical practices within Scotland, and to their nominated friends and family members.
2. Each participating practice will be issued with a promotional postcard, entitling the holder to 20% off the standard private self-pay price of cataract surgery at SpaMedica the home of Freedom Vision, in Scotland (as published on our website/price list at the time of booking).
3. To redeem the discount, the patient must quote the promotion at the time of booking their initial consultation, and provide the name and GOC number of the referring optometrist or practice.
4. This offer is valid for appointments booked between 20.07.2026 to 31.08.2026. Initial consultation must take place no later than 31.08.2026 and surgery must take place no later than 30.09.2026 for the discount to remain valid.
5. If it is determined at point of referral or at the initial consultation that the patient needs cataract surgery for both eyes and if only one eye can be achieved in the above timescales stated in clause 4, will we honour that discount for the second eye
6. The discount applies to the overall cost of surgery and is applicable to all 3 lenses available: monofocal, multifocal and multifocal toric.
7. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount, promotion, financing arrangement, or where treatment costs are covered in whole or in part by private medical insurance.
8. Each discount may be used once per patient only and is non-transferable once redeemed. No cash alternative will be offered.
9. All patients must be aged 18 or over and must meet SpaMedica’s standard clinical eligibility criteria for cataract surgery, as determined at consultation.
10. SpaMedica reserves the right to verify the optometrist’s GOC registration and practice details before confirming the discount.

12. SpaMedica reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw this promotion at any time, provided this does not affect any treatment already booked and confirmed under the offer.
