Working with community optometrists to improve lives

Thousands of Optometrists Trust Us – So Can You

As one of the UK’s leading independent providers of ophthalmic care, thousands of optometrists choose to refer their patients to us for many different reasons, but the main one is simple: we deliver results they can trust. We’re not just another referral option, we’re the go-to partner for practitioners who demand clinical excellence, clear communication, and outstanding results.

Referrals & Post-Op Care Made Easy

We work closely with over 6,000 community optometrists through our Cataract Post-Operative Accreditation Scheme. More than 74% of cataract post-op assessments are completed by accredited community optometrists, ensuring patients receive timely, local care while freeing up hospital capacity.

Benefits for optometrists include:

From May 2026, some ICB’s have updated their post-operative care pathways, meaning patients within that ICB do not require a post-operative appointment. Patient care remains our priority, and we will continue to take full responsibility for every patient’s safety, experience and outcomes until discharge.
