Consultant Ophthalmologist
Farshad is a consultant ophthalmologist with a special interest and significant experience in anterior segment and cataract surgery.
He trained in General Medicine and Ophthalmology in Austria and Germany until January 2015, when he joined SpaMedica as a cataract surgeon.
Farshad holds a full GMC registration with a license to practice, as well as a fellowship of the European Board of Ophthalmology.
Since 2016, he has been involved in training a number of fellow surgeons in cataract surgery procedures. Farshad currently performs over 4,000 cataract and refractive lens exchanges a year.
