Association of Independent Optometry Conference 2021,
9th-10th October 2021,
Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth, Warwick, CV8 2LD
“The Association for Independent Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians (AIO) was formed in the mid-1950s as a ‘Standing Conference’ to bring together independent practitioners to exchange ideas, practice, and social interaction. its fortunes have ebbed and flowed over the decades, but in recent years the elected Council of the Association has been determined that AIO should become ever more active to represent the interests of the Independent sector in the challenging world of Optics as the only single interest professional representative body.”
SpaMedica is currently the number one provider of cataract surgeries for NHS patients in the UK; performing more than 54,000 surgeries each year. A key part of our service is being able to offer our patients the opportunity to have their cataract post-operative assessment at their referring opticians practice – this is currently provided to SpaMedica patients by more than 3,900 community optometrists, as part of our Accredited Partner Programme.
At AIO Conference we will be sharing our specialist knowledge on cataract surgery and best practices; supporting you and your patients.
