The team at SpaMedica Birmingham reached a key milestone when they welcomed their 5,000th patient to the hospital.
On Friday 6th March 2020, SpaMedica Birmingham celebrated the treatment of Jane Hales, the 5,000th cataract patient to receive treatment at the hospital; a fantastic achievement for everyone on the team.
To mark the occasion, Jane was presented with a certificate and a box of chocolates by Emma Streete, Area Manager, and Hospital Manager, Dolly Virdi.
Dolly said: “We’re so pleased to have reached such a significant milestone as having treated our 5,000th patient. I think it’s a fantastic indication of how well the team here has done to provide our patients with SpaMedica’s 5-star service and high levels of patient care, and, indicates how well thought of SpaMedica is within the community. I’m really proud of everyone here for the role they’ve played in getting us to this point.”
Our Birmingham hospital opened 2 years ago; our first hospital in the Midlands. Since then the team has delivered excellence in care, from patient transport to the surgical theatre.
