On Friday 2nd August SpaMedica Wakefield celebrated their 10,000th patient to be treated for cataracts. It was a very proud day for everyone in Wakefield including the team and patients, with Christine Molloy being the 10,000th patient to receive treatment at the SpaMedica eye hospital.
Christine’s story is familiar to many patients, whose eyesight is affected by cataracts and have trouble with day-to-day activities. Christine was delighted and more than happy to share her SpaMedica journey with the team, commenting: “I’ve just been told I’ve got 20:20 vision, which I don’t think I’ve ever had in my life. It’s really wonderful, I can see colours, I can see in the distance and everything. It’s amazing.”
