As one of the UK’s leading providers of NHS Ophthalmology Services, providing cataract surgery, AMD treatments and YAG capsulotomy, we’re constantly growing and are always looking for people who can grow and develop with us.
At the event, the SpaMedica team spoke to over 300 nurses about who we are, what we do and why we do it. Truly giving the nurses an insight in to what it’s like working for SpaMedica, from the 4-day week and training & development opportunities, to the staff parties and bonuses. Our Hospital Manager, Rowena Champeneri, RGN, Karly Gill and ODP, Pam Robinson did amazing jobs talking to everyone who visited our stand.
Jo-Anne Ratcliffe, SpaMedica’s Chief People Officer also attended, and said of the event: “I’m incredibly proud of both the team who were here today, and the SpaMedica team as a whole, and I’m proud to be a part of it. I think that all the visitors to our stand, today, left feeling that SpaMedica would be a great place for them to develop themselves and their careers; and that’s exactly what we set out to achieve by attending this event, so I couldn’t be happier with how it went.”
Our nurses play a huge part in our patient care and in supporting every single patient through their patient journey. We’re privileged to have some of the UK’s leading consultants working alongside our clinical teams in our state-of-the-art hospitals, and our nurses help us to achieve some of the best outcomes in the UK, along with low complications rates – helping hundreds of patients improve their vision every day.
We value each and every one of our team members for the part they play in providing a 5-star service, which truly improves our patients’ quality of life.
