Modern Slavery Statement


SpaMedica Ltd is a limited company registered in England and Wales (registered number 6644293)
(“SPAMEDICA” or “We”) which is a leading provider of medical and surgical eye patient services.

SpaMedica prohibits slavery, forced labour and human trafficking of any kind in relation to business
and our supply chain. We will not support or deal with any business knowingly involved in slavery or
human trafficking. We support the promotion of ethical business practices and policies to protect
workers from any kind of abuse or exploitation in relation to our business and supply chain.


We take a zero-tolerance approach towards slavery and human trafficking. We will evaluate any
instances of non-compliance in our supply chain on a case by case basis and will carry out any remedial
action where necessary.


To ensure a high level of understanding by our employees of the risks of modern slavery and human
trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we provide training to our staff. We have a culture
of openness, integrity and accountability.


This policy statement will be reviewed annually unless circumstances dictate that it should be
reviewed more frequently.

We will regularly communicate with our employees and people in our supply chain, to ensure that
they have an understanding to effectively deal with the issue of modern slavery and encourage them
to be compliant.

We will continue to work hard to build long standing relationships with our suppliers based on mutual
trust and transparency.

We will actively encourage the reporting of any wrongdoing and protect whistle-blowers.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes
our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 December 2020. It was
approved by the board of directors on 4 October 2021.
