Jessica is the Senior Patient-Co-ordinator at the SpaMedica headquarters in Bolton. She ensures that the patients have a pleasant experience throughout their visits to SpaMedica. She supports the Patient Co-Ordinators in making our patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their journey with us. Jessica is enthusiastic and promotes a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout to reassure any patient nerves.
Alex plays an important role as SpaMedica’s Specialty Doctor, with more than eight years’ experience in healthcare. He is passionate about research and is currently involved in the Global Vision Database and the UK National Eye Health Survey. Alex provides medical advice and support to our patients across all our sites, including complex pre-operative and post-operative patients, and performing YAG laser.
Gemma has worked in the ophthalmic industry for over 9 years, joining our SpaMedica team 5 years ago. Gemma is responsible for scheduling all clinical activity across each of our hospitals. She effectively manages rotas for Consultants, Optometrists and all Clinical staff, ensuring that we have the correct skill mix of staff at each hospital to deliver the outstanding patient care we pride ourselves on.
Tom is an experienced Optometrist and has held an advanced clinical role for a number of years. He uses his experience to provide the highest possible standard of care for all his patients. Another aspect of Tom’s role is to manage our SpaMedica Optometrist team and ensure they are all also providing similar high levels of patient care.
