How do skin peels work?

How will I feel during the treatment?
The skin is first thoroughly washed and cleansed before the peeling agent is applied to the skin. As part of the procedure, local anaesthetic is required, but the skin is kept cool and comfortable using a stream of cool, soothing air.
Skin peels take approximately 45 minutes to perform. They are often combined with Microdermabrasion treatments to improve the penetration of the peel and the overall effect of the treatment.
A course of skin peels is generally recommended for optimum results.
