- Acne
When used for rejuventation, IPL can remove unsightly pigmentation and veins and give you a more youthful and healthy look.
At SpaMedica, our IPL technology is medical grade and able to deliver clinical results. We ensure that treatments are appropriately delivered in incremental doses and tailored for your skin type. It's essential when considering any treatment, including IPL, that it is unique to your particular skin type. We employ test patching when necessary to ensure we apply the appropriate amount, and type of treatment to achieve results safely.
In addition to IPL therapy, we're able to offer superimpose Radiofrequency (RF) treatment for the additional benefit of skin tightening. By combining IPL with RF you can benefit from treatment that addresses both the external appearance of your skin as well as tightening the deeper layers responsible for skin laxity and wrinkles.
The treatment uses a chilled handpiece to deliver pulses of light to your skin. No anaesthetic is required as the treatment is comfortable and usually takes approximately 10 – 15 minutes but can vary depending on the size of the area being treated.
IPL can be used on the face, neck, hands and body. Optimum results are achieved through a course of 4 - 6 treatments. You can resume your normal daily activities after treatment.
