Using Skin Peels
Skin peels encourage exfoliation of the superficial layers of skin. Peels are able to penetrate deeper than microdermabrasion and thus the rejuvenating effect achieved can be greater, resulting in smoother, firmer, healthy appearing skin. Varying depths of peel can be performed and in general the deeper the peel the more dramatic the effect but the longer the recovery may take. Peels are often used to brighten dull complexions, treat the effects of sun damage such as pigmentation, vascularity and rejuvenate lax, wrinkled skin.
They can also have a beneficial effect on acne prone skin, enlarged pores and oily skin.
