Medical Microdermabrasion

Medical Microdermabrasion is cosmetic procedure in which the stratum corneum, the outermost surface of the skin, is partially or completely removed by light abrasion. The treatment is useful to brighten the complexion of your skin and is also used for the treatment of sun damage, superficial lines, acne prone skin, blemished skin, dull skin and stretch marks. We use medical grade aluminium oxide crystals to provide a reliable exfoliative action in a pain free fashion.

Treatment is available for the face, neck, chest hands and body. Facial treatments take approximately 30 minutes. For optimum and longer lasting results we recommend a course of 6 treatments as a package.

Results of treatment are immediate with a smoother, brighter, glowing complexion being noticeable after treatment. Clients often request the treatment before important social or business events as the effects are immediate and there are no untoward after effects.

If anti-ageing creams or acne treatments are used we also use an ultrasonic tip to promote uptake of the active compounds.  A radio frequency tip is also available to promote collagen synthesis and skin tightening.
